Points or Cash collects as little as it can. No ads, no selling or sharing data for marketing, no tracking cookies. Your email is stored only if you join the line. Questions you ask the agent are sent to Anthropic to answer them and kept for 30 days. Last updated 2 November 2026.

What we collect, and why
Only what each feature needs. Nothing is collected until you use the feature.

Please don't put sensitive details (passport numbers, card numbers, health information) in questions or notes. We don't need them.
Legal basis
- Your consent when you join the line, verify a page or send a report. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Providing the service you asked for when you ask the agent a question.
- Legitimate interest for security logs, anonymous analytics and limiting abuse.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@pointsorcash.app from the address you signed up with, and we'll reply within 30 days. Conversations are tied to a random ID in your browser rather than to you, so clearing your browser storage disconnects them. They expire after 30 days anyway.
You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Belgium that's the Data Protection Authority.
Children, security and changes
Points or Cash is not meant for anyone under 16. Data is sent over HTTPS, and access to the database is limited to the people running the service. If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and email people on the waitlist about significant changes.
