How do I transfer Amex points to Avios?
Link your British Airways Club (or Iberia / Aer Lingus) account in the Membership Rewards site or app, choose the amount in 1,000-point steps, and confirm. Most transfers to British Airways arrive within minutes; Iberia can take a day or two. Transfers cannot be reversed, so find the flight first.
Is there an Amex to Avios transfer bonus?
Not right now. The last one we tracked was +30% from Amex US to British Airways, 3 August 2026 to 27 September 2026. Bonuses come back regularly; see the bonus tracker.
Can I move Avios between British Airways, Iberia and Qatar?
Yes. Avios can be combined between British Airways Club, Iberia Club, Aer Lingus AerClub and Qatar Airways Privilege Club once each account meets the programs' own conditions (account age, activity). That means a transfer to one Avios program can usually be used with another.
