Points or Cash gives banks and card issuers a calendar of award seats that their cardholders’ points can reach, priced against the cash fare after taxes and fees, with a points-or-cash verdict for each day. In a bank app the balance and card tier are already known, so the calendar can hand off straight to the transfer.
Your cardholders’ points, shown as days they can fly
Points or Cash puts two months of award seats on one calendar. Each day shows the best seat the cardholder’s own points can reach, what each point is worth against the cash fare after taxes and fees, and whether to use points or pay cash.
In your app, the balance is already known and the transfer is one tap away.
Keep your portal. Add the decision.
Your booking portal and transfer partner stay where they are. Points or Cash adds the part they leave to the cardholder: which day, which partner, and whether to use points at all.
| A search or portal shows | The calendar adds |
|---|---|
| Seats on the date you typed | The best seat on every day for two months |
| Every program, whether or not the card can reach it | Only programs this card transfers to, at this card’s ratio |
| A price in miles | Cents per point against the cash fare, after taxes and fees |
| Points spent at a fixed rate on a cash fare | When that’s the better deal, and when a transfer or plain cash is |
You already know their points
Balance, card tier and the transfer ratio that goes with it, and your own transfer bonuses. Inside your app, nobody types a balance or guesses a ratio, and a day on the calendar can end in “transfer 111,500 now”.
The redemption happens in your app
“My card got me to Tokyo in business for $100” is why people keep a premium card. Today that moment happens on award-search sites and forums. This puts it next to the transfer button.
“Pay cash” still lands on your card
When the cash fare is the better deal, Mila says so, and the fare goes on your card and earns more points. An honest answer costs you nothing, and it’s why cardholders trust the rest.
Your transfer bonuses get seen, fairly
When two options are worth the same to the cardholder, the calendar can lead with the partner where your bonus is running. It never hides a better option, because the colours always come from the cardholder’s own numbers. That’s a written rule your compliance team can check against Consumer Duty and EU rules.
Built for European cards
42 card currencies with their own partners and ratios: Amex country by country (Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, France, Germany and more), Revolut RevPoints, and banks in Canada, Asia-Pacific, India and the Gulf. Prices in euros where the traveller starts in Europe.
In your app, next to your portal
The calendar as a component, with the cardholder’s balance and card tier passed in from your side. Your booking and transfer vendors stay.
In your assistant
Calendar and points-or-cash answers as tools your own assistant can call. Our public MCP server shows how they work.
Into your transfer flow
A chosen day hands off to your transfer screen with the partner and the number of points filled in.
Where things stand: the calendar runs today in our invite-only app. Embedding it in a bank app needs licensed award data, which a partnership pays for, and your balance and transfer APIs. Award seats come from cached searches and can be gone by the time someone books, so the cardholder always confirms the seat before transferring.
