RewardCash (RC$) is HSBC HK's points currency (RC$1 is worth HK$1 against a bill). Transfers go through the HSBC Reward+ app. The rate depends heavily on the card: HSBC EveryMile Credit Card and HSBC Privé holders get RC$1 = 20 miles/points at all 19 programmes (15 airline, 4 hotel). Every other HSBC card (Red, Visa Signature, Premier etc.) can only convert to 5 airline programmes: Asia Miles, China Southern Sky Pearl and Fortune Wings at RC$1 = 10, plus Avios and KrisFlyer at RC$1 = 15 only for valid Premier Mastercard holders; those cards have no hotel or other airline options (shown as alt_ratios). Minimum RC$40 per conversion. HSBC says there are no handling fees (Reward+ FAQ); T&Cs reserve the right to charge a Mileage Programme annual fee. Conversion is instant except Avios, EVA Infinity MileageLands, KrisFlyer and Fortune Wings (up to 2 weeks). Enrolment of a new FFP account can take up to 2 working days. EveryMile/Privé RC can only be redeemed in the Reward+ app. Per MoneyHero (Aug 2026), from 11 May 2026 HSBC added Hilton (EveryMile/Privé only) and Hainan Airlines (Fortune Wings) and China Southern (all cards), bringing the total to 19. Conflict: one section of HSBC's mileage page omits Qantas from its list, but the EveryMile product page and the page's own table both list Qantas Frequent Flyer, so we include it. Conflict: a stays.hk article (Mar 2026) claims EveryMile-to-Marriott dropped to 1:0.8 in April 2025 and describes 'EveryMile points' converting 1:1, which does not match HSBC's RewardCash system or its published RC$1 = 20 rate; we treat that article as unreliable.
